This month, The English Student turns one! Thanks to over 4,000 of you who have supported my work! I've received so many wonderful emails from learners and teachers from all over the world who have benefited from this blog (I read each and every one of your messages!). From children with learning disabilities to adults who have always struggled to learn English, I'm very touched by all who have used and shared my resources to help one another learn. |
In the beginning, I only wanted to start a small blog to provide more interesting resources for my students because it was so hard to find things that were fun and easy to understand for visual learners. Eventually I got more ideas, studied a bit about website coding, learned Photoshop, and now I'm drawing all my work for my newly designed website! I am, like you, still learning too but the biggest lesson I've learned is: anything is possible, just don't give up when things get difficult, as you will accomplish great things! I'm not sure what the next year will bring, but I only hope that you will continue to be motivated to learn and share the joy of learning with others! To celebrate The English Student turning one, here is a countdown of this years ten most popular posts! Click on the image to read each one.
