THE STORY
|
The English Student is a blog and website dedicated to art and English-learning. I created it in 2013 after discovering the effectiveness of visual aids in learning English as a second or foreign language. I love art and I love teaching, so I put the two together and formed The English Student. My goal is to create resources that encourage learning everywhere and anywhere - at home, at school, while having dinner with friends, before bedtime, or at your desk. My work is a collection of topics based on real-life authentic English. I hope that through The English Student, I can promote everyday learning and engage learners like you. This website is based on three of my passions in life: lifelong learning, spreading happiness, and doing good! |
The English Student was developed to help you overcome the common frustrations of learning by simplifying lessons. If we can "show" information, why not do it? By using art and real-life experiences, learning becomes a lot more valuable, interesting, and effective.
Most of the time, it’s not that you’re not intelligent or don’t put enough effort, it’s just that you can’t “see” or relate to what you’re learning. |
My goal is to provide you with unique experiences so that you’d naturally want to include learning in your daily life. The English Student encourages English-learning as a work of art that you’d want to look at over and over again, not as a burden in life. I'm hoping joy in learning can reduce the fear and anxiety of common learning experiences.
I provide everyday English learning inspired by daily life experiences that inspire joy and a bit of fun! |
We all feel happy when we can do something good for others. Spreading the joy of learning is an important part of The English Student. I believe everyone should have the access to high-quality learning materials that inspire people to be lifelong learners.
You can do good by passing on the gift of learning to others. In the meantime, I'll continue providing non profits around the world with free learning resources! |
