A popular saying is that "absence makes the heart grow fonder." The word 'absence' (noun of absent) means 'not there' or 'away.' The word 'fond' means 'loving and affectionate'. When our heart grows fonder, we love and appreciate more, your feelings grow!

But there are people who disagree with this and say, "out of sight, out of mind!" This means if you don't see them and you're not with them, you don't think about them, they're out of your mind!
What do you think? Do you think "absence makes the heart grow fonder" or do you think, "out of sight, out of mind?"
